Lucky, I have a link to Add or Remove programs allready linked on my desktop and that still works. I just tried to bring up Control Panel from my Start menu. but it just pauses when I try to run it and then nothing. Search locates the file is still in C:/Windows. Now it just doesn't load, right after I installed DJ Explorer. I load it like this all the time and I use this app all the time. I use Start > Run > explorer.exe and nothing happens. somehow this DJ program has altered my explorer.exe app (Windows File Explorer) because it won't load on it's own. Click that, and you're in the My Computer interface, and under Audio Devices section you can select the Dell DJ and add/drop files very similiar to how it works with Microsoft Powertoys. The toolbar at the top only shows the Up Directory icon available. Right click and you can choose Explore or Open. When run, it pops up an empty explorer window that only shows My Jukebox. I run it from the start menu, and it loads. First of all, the program does not load from the icon on my desktop. However, something is wrong with this software. Now I just installed the new Dell DJ Explorer program which is supposed to be an alternative to using MusicMatch. I ran the firmware upgrade utility, fine, no problem. ![]() ![]() I had no intention of installing MuisicMatch, so I located the driver file and ran it. The DJ driver executable is not available seperately so i had to download the full install CD. The player will not connect to windows without a driver, so I downloaded all the newest software from Dell. The hardware itself is fine but I've had software problems. Just got this toy today, and the experience so far is mixed.
